General Travel Advice

Vaccines are only one part of the story

Vaccines provide protection for just one aspect of travel related illness.

Below are links to travel health information on other important factors to consider when travelling. During your travel consultation, we will explore your medical history and look at what you plan to do where and provide you with advice specific to your plans.

Initial consultation - face to face or online?

Face to face consultation has the advantage of you being vaccinated on the day of the consultation if vaccines are recommended.  Online consultation means you have more time to consider or read information about recommendations made. A shorter follow-up in person appointment for your vaccinations will then be arranged.

Travel advice and education we provide helps keep travellers healthy and safe. We will talk through matters important to you and recommend resources for reference whilst travelling.

During your consultation a joint decision can be made about which vaccines you require and would like. Our experienced team will deliver the vaccines in our Stonehouse clinic, which has street level access, and plan follow up appointments for further vaccine doses if needed.

There is no upfront fee for face to face consultations, but there is a consultation fee if you do not proceed to have any vaccinations from our clinic. Thee is a small fee for online consultations.
